the slogan on the front and an American flag on
the back, in garnet and gold colors.

I don't think it's that big of a deal. They have the permission & the blessing of the Beamer Foundation.

Bobby Bowden's original reaction to the "Lets roll" theme on the other hand was a little bit unsympathetic.
