Well, Bama, I noticed a steep drop-off at the corner when Pat Clark came in. There were two passes in particular that we got lucky: when PC was completely beat by his man and Sharpley overthrew him and a regular comeback route where the WR had eight yards of cushion but dropped his pass.
JWD played on the same defense last year that held most teams offensively other than Clemson and WVU. Other than those two teams, Tech either got beat or had a close win due to problems on offense and ST. And JWD has never stuck out in my mind the same way Pat Clark did on Saturday.
