link shows where each AP writer has us ranked

Are you sure? I checked back on Sunday and nobody had us unranked anymore.

According to Bark Madley, UGa received zero votes.

You must be looking at the week before.

Interesting. Adam van Brimmer from Savannah has us at 14 - 2nd highest. But he didn't rank LSU or Miami at all as in not in the top25 when the week before he had LSU at #5 and Miami at #10.

Also interesting is that both Fowler and Herstreit have us at 16.

It's kind of interesting to see some of the voters and think..."what the **** are they doing?" I remember one guy who had us above Miami right after they beat us and BYU high up and FSU unranked right after their game.

Below are the 7 TOOLS that have us unranked however I see that some have slipped ugag in the top 25

Bob Asmussen unranked
Brett McMurphy unranked
Glenn Guilbeau unranked
Mark Anderson unranked
Mike DiRocco unranked
Mike Strain unranked
Steve Conroy unranked

McMurphy was the beat writer for South Florida in the Tampa Tribune for the last several years. Now he has a blog for South Florida and is a big time Big East schill. He has been exceedingly unloving to Georgia Tech and the ACC in general. It highlights the fallacy of the polls. I really believe that if Tech were to win out, this tool would have us 11-1 and ranked 18th. But what can you do, other than just keep winning.

Interesting that Fowler is the only person with Bama ahead of Florida.
That actually doesn't bother me. Florida and Bama can flip-flop 1 and 2 for all I care as long as they both remain unbeaten. This will auto-correct the first weekend in December. You can make a very good argument for Slick Nick and the cheatin' Bryants as a legitimate number one.
