locker room fodder

I'm pretty sure seeing anonymous quotes like this makes CPJ very happy. He's in those coaches heads and he's absolutely loving it. As am I.

Just goes to show why we are so lucky to have him as a coach.

There's a comment trashing every team's talent in there except Clemson and Miami, which is strange for what was the best football conference in the country last year.

Thus, I'm thinking that all those quotes are Cutcliffe's. Obviously didn't interview CPJ, as there were no references to looking at the tape. iiwii.

One of the most critical of the toughness of the SEC has been Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson, who ironically will face Tennessee in Atlanta for a Labor Day showdown.

I sat behind a couple of girls one time at a movie theater. They were joking around and one turned to another and said "Are you being sarcasm?"

I thought this was old news. The Athlon stuff has been out awhile, I thought. Glad to see the ajc catching wind of it a few weeks later. Discussed on TOS, IIRC

Yeah. Our offense is trying to hurt EVERYBODY. That includes you, Cutcliffe. Prepare your knees

We high/low chop block 60 times per game? Lol. Some games we only get 80 plays...

CPJ is right...calls it like he sees it. Game on.

If I were CPJ, I would write a list of three demands to the publication asking for them for the following by NOON tomorrow or a court action will be undertaken.
1) Name of the sissy coach who made the statement
2) A guarantee that the coach will not tear up as his team gets its ass kicked by GT this season
3) A formal apology for the statement by both the coach and the publication

And yes, CPJ is F'ing serious

You want a privately owned publication to force some coach, employed by some university, to guarantee he will not tear up after a game?

You want same publication to have the authority to force a coach, not of their employ, to issue a formal apology?

Shirley you can not be serious.

Whoever this anon coach is, he must really be laughing hard when he realizes how well his ploy worked to get under people's skin.

I wonder who is laughing the most - this coach or CPJ at what the anon coach said in the article.

Wonder what our anon coach said about some other team?

I'm giving you one hour to think about what you have written and rescind. I also expect an apology.
You have one hour. Don't let pride get in your way. Pride will cost you in court.

I do respect Miami on that they show up to try to kick your ass every week instead of crybabying about legal blocking

As bad as their fans can be, this is a fair assessment. They don't gripe about the blocking scheme.
