November -> perfect time of the season to play the Chokies. The numbers don't lie:
2005: started 8-0, then 2-2 in November
2003: started 6-0, then finished 2-5
2002: started 8-0, then finished 2-4
2001: started 6-0, then finished 2-4
Since 2001, VPI is 16-18 in games played after Nov. 1. Take out last year's 4-1 record and they're only 12-17.
But beeware, the Jackets are only 15-18 in that same time span. We've been known to fold like a lawn chair in some of our late season games.
