Guys, Adam doesn't really care about this guy one way or another, he's just trying to drum up traffic for his website, to get his name out more with the NFL fans, and possibly increase his stock on draft day.

And hey, more power to him. I think it'd be cool if every potential draftee was supplied a website by the AA.

It seemed everytime a school started looking for a new coach in the past couple years, Paul Johnson's name was at or near the top of the list. I can't provide links but I am pretty sure I have read before that CPJ basically turned down several offers before. And we know now that he took less money to come to GT. SMU was putting up some bucks... granted not Nick Saban dollars but who does that anyway other than Bama? :D My point is that Chan Gailey was NOT a name on people's list and if he was, no one knew about it and there certainly weren't any write ups about him.

Like I said, I liked Chan and I'm not trying to bash him but we all knew Paul Johnson and he was a big enough splash to generate some excitement. The Chan hiring was more of a wet blanket for many people (those I have been around).

Zack doesn't know anything. He actually asked where Georgia Southern was. Either he lives out state and just picked Georgia Tech as "his" team or he is just some tard trying to stir up trouble. I'm going with the latter.

Or as knox pointed out he was a figment of the mod in order to generate traffic on the board. :rolleyes:
 
Hahaha... I was going to write something about that but I jumped too quickly to clear up what I was saying. That would not surprise me one bit. Oh that Knox is a smart one :p

You want us to visit your site regularly, write a blog, interview players, keep up the good work with the ex-player round table discussions. That works. that's something that the other boards don't have.

I don't need to come over to MeetTheMachine to get involved in a dumb ass arguement I could read over on BO, the Hive and soemtimes even here. There's already too many boards for that BS.

I realized that, I didn't intend to imply otherwise. And I do think you've done a pretty good job with it, personally. I just mentioned the AA thing because I think it'd be a good recruiting tool. "We give our NFL candidates free websites to increase their draft stock" might be a little bonus on the recruiting trail.

How do you figure this is going to increase his draft stock?
 
Personally, outside of the over the top marketing of the site, I think it's awesome what Adamm's doing. I've listened to the recorded shows and their good info. So I say thanks.
 
I listened to last nights show tih 33jacket and it was great. There was humor and PLENTY of information that just makes you feel a lot more connected to the program. That's a good thing ya got there Adamm.
 
I've seen it, its good stuff. Its unique too. That's your angle. not some pissed off idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about.
 
The idiot helped losen things up a bit on the forum. There will be plenty of intelligent info, I just don't want people scared to write and voice there opinions just because players participate in the forum. It made an interesting topic but not very intelligent. In the future more insightful and interesting topic will be posted just like on the shows.

Name recognition. Buzz. TheMachine's got about a thousand page long thread over on the Falcons forums going right now.

Hell, if it ups him 2 spots it's worth the time and effort. Might as well give it a shot once you're out of school and waiting on the draft. I'd do it.
