Flowery Branch -- Falcons first round draft pick Peria Jerry suffered a season-ending knee injury and will miss the rest of the season, according to Falcons coach Mike Smith.

Vance Walker, a seventh round draft pick from Georgia Tech, will be moved up to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.

ALready added to the roster on the Falcons website. Jerry is on injured reserve. Does Jerry really weigh 290? He looks fatter. According to the roster, Walker is actually an inch taller and a few pounds heavier.

I mostly do, but I have some bias towards Falcons.

Btw another jacket Keyaron Fox had 15 tackles so far at Steelers, he had 17 in all of 2008, so he must have moved up the ladder a bit.

Absolutely. I have never been a Cowboys fan until this year. Tashard Choice made a couple of conversions for 1st downs, and Keith Brooking was in on some stops.:biggthumpup:

While we're on the subject of Jackets in the NFL, Tashard Choice looks solid everytime he touches the ball. He is #3 in Dallas behind some serious studs (Felix Jones & Marion Barber) and he still manages to make a contribution to the 'Boys. I would love to see him get a starting job somewhere.

No, I pick them based off of geographical location and sometimes players that I really liked in college. I grew up a Saints fan, living in NOLA. Dropped my hatred towards Atlanta after living there for 7 years and would have probably been a fan had I not moved. Wouldn't have been good for my health though, considering I am a die hard Saints fan.
