After the GT/UGA game, UGA will wind up with 5 losses. That's taking into consideration that they lose to Auburn too, as well as to GT. Amazing how a team with such high recruiting credentials could have such a season.

:laugher: :laugher:

Of course there is no game more important than the one coming up next, so we'll worry about UGA toward the end.

BUT..............

This year also begins a new reign of GT winning over UGA. We still hold the record of most consecutive wins, so now we can start a new one and extend it.

The streak from 1949-1956 is one I want to forever to see GT hold over UGA's head. Came pretty close to seeing that tied back from '91-'97, but GT stepped up in Athens in '98 with a 21-19 victory. It's at five now for UGA so it's definitely time to put an end to it and , as you said, start a new one.

As we know, there have been opportunities over the past couple of years to break this mini-streak, so it just needs to happen this year. With recruiting going the way it is GT could have the opportunity to start a streak of their own in this series, and maybe extend one beyond three games, which is the longest GT streak that most of us have seen in our lifetimes.

But, as you said rome-j, first things first, NC State.
