1). Our Defense made two key fourth down stops.
2). Our defense made two red zone stops.
3) we were able to create three turnovers.
4) Our kicker is elite on kickoffs, excellent!
5) Our RB’s had a terrific game.
6) Coaches did a good job changing the tempo of the game. Sims was obviously not himself and they protected him well.
7) Our OL was good until injuries stacked up.
8) Likewise our DL put pressure on Miami early and kept it up enough late.
9) We cut down on the blown coverages in a big way.

It was an entertaining game. I am not upset at all. We made lots of good plays. Unfortunately we get some killing penalties or other at key times. But we are improving, go back and look at year one.

You sure saw a different game than I did. Yes, there were some positives in it, but IMO they were vastly outweighed by all the MANY MANY negatives. Because of the obvious positives though, there is no doubt in my mind that we should have won the game, and it was not the players' fault that we didn't....that loss rests solely on the coaches.

We have a depleted OL, they were still competitive with it. I can assure you that the coaches don’t coach incredibly stupid personal fouls on a kickoff play that is already past the player or holding calls pretty much away from the play. We had lots of good play but offset by huge penalty calls, or huge mistakes by players.

The only coaching that I questioned was why they didn’t switch QB’s as Sims did not look the same from the beginning.

You don't question P'Nut's continued attempts at running up the middle for no gain? How many more times is he going to have to do that before he realizes that our line can't open any holes? Yes, they apparently opened a monster hole for one play (I forget who the RB was on that), but generally he is content with doing that instead of actively trying to move the ball down the field, when he has awesome RB's WITH SPEED AND FINESSE You are ok with that? Do you never notice the lack of any sense of urgency in a game and poor clock management every single game? There was no reason for the STUPID play calling P'Nut did at the end of the first half. We should have moved the ball straight down the field and scored, and there is absolutely no excuse for not trying to do that, but instead resorting to the same ole crappy plays he always calls in situations like that. I could go on and on and on and on, but you obviously are blind to all that crap, so it's not worth the effort.

#9 I disagree on, we had multiple blown coverages which cost us the game. One was the flea flicker, the other was the stacked formation where both of our defenders took 1 of the 2 offenders. And tight ends were open in the middle of the field per longstanding Georgia Tech tradition.

Despite recovering 3 fumbles and scoring 9 defensive points, we still managed to score less than any of Miami’s ACC opponents this year. And forced only a single punt.

While I appreciate the attempt to look at the bright side, we got a ton of breaks today and still öööö the bed against a mediocre team.

Here's another positive:

It wasn't on TV where I live.

+2 in turnovers.
Two fourth down stops.
Had TD plays of 71 and 50 yards
Still gave up 500 plus yards.
Still lost.

Game replay is on Bally SportSouth now.
Rewatching because I missed a great deal of second and third quarters.

No one wants to talk about the 2 HUGE fourth down stops... nope.....not when in the same game you gave up 24 First downs and 563 total yards. For full context for the Geoff Collins supportors, he was 15-11 at Temple, who has since gone 4-11 the last 2 years with Geoff Collins’ ellite upperclass recruits. This coach is killing Tech football and his supporters are continuing to make excuses for his dumb butt.

Well, our punter is apparently ambidextrous. The punt that he had to scramble before kicking was made right-footed. Is that a positive?

I’ll take it. Good catch.
