I was surpised we didn’t get boat raced, but it was da U probably the only ACC team that rivals us in lack of discipline. They may edge us out in dumb plays, da U is a very dumb team. We did have some good plays- 3 TO’s, Gibbs and Mason’s TDs, 4th down stops. Using a season where our coaching staff was completely unprepared, incredibly inept, etc to conclude they’re not as dumb this year as they were previously as a measure of progress is kinda a stretch. It’s not incorrect, but for example saying he’s better than Curry at 8-24-1 is not going to prove much of a point. Curry inherited a total disaster. This guy inherited a competitive, winning program capable of beating any opponent except the top 2-3 teams in the nation every week.

Surprised? You were hoping for us to get boat raced.

A competitive program? Our roster was garbage in 2019. Total damn garbage in the modern era, not in the era where Curry took the job making less than $50k a season.

I never hope for GT to lose. I’m not one of you Chan, Johnson haters that prefer us to lose so they can get their way.

I am so grateful for your steadfast defense of your boy’s honor. I still think you’re getting paid for it, but it’s really cute. This board would only have logical football conversations if not for your overwhelming efforts to explain our greatness engineering a phenomenal 9-22 record.

We did not have any talent left when PJ left. His ball control offense was awesome and difficult to defend and that helped protect the defense but we seemed to headed in the wrong direction talent wise.

I was FOCcer when Chan was here. I supported CPJ when he was here. I support our staff. Getting on a message board and constantly calling for our HC to be fired does our team no favors. We lost by three yesterday. We had an opportunity to win. Do I think we will be in a place to win those close games going forward once we build depth along the OL and DL? Yes. You apparently don't so you are just gonna come on here and öööö on the team and staff.

What you really need to do is just get a piece of chalk, go out to the driveway, make a circle, get in it, throw your damn little hissy fit you seem to be continuously on nowadays, and get the öööö over yourself.

Your opinions are öööö. You are öööö.

15-11? Thanks for that, I knew it was mediocre but that is pretty telling. This does not end well. At some point unless your Duke you stop being happy with "moral victories" because you didn't get blown out and actually win.

Hurt or ill, I dunno. Quinlan said not healthy. It's just my opinion/suspicion, but I believe he will hit the portal when he completes his degree. Some have suggested he may be done next spring. He will have lots of eligibility, so he will want to go play somewhere, IMO. Smart kid and a sensible choice.

We aren’t beating Miami for a long time now. Van Dyke is the real deal. He’ll be the new Pickett the next 3 years. His stats, completion %, and poise are outstanding. His calmness with all the stupid mistakes Miami made yesterday is the main reason they won. He kept playing thru the turnovers and never waivered. Watching him light up Bobby Dodd next year will suck.

Two back sets bring an extra Defender into the "Box", when you have a very weak OLine, the best strategy is spread the Defense out with a 1-back, 1-TE formation, that way a weak OLine can use the extra space in the Box and hope that a talented back can find room to run, even if the blocking isn't perfect.

On!y 1 guy can carry the Ball, so having 2 talented Backs in the game at the same time won't payoff like you think it will, we rotated them very well and got both of them touches in space.
