My first college football game was vs Notre Lame in 2006. Do you think, in 24 hours, BDS will be louder?

I will say yes. The consensus around my friends is that this game is going to be epic and that we are more pumped for this than we have been in the 4 years I've been here. Thoughts...

The defensive stand vs. Maryland in 2006 was an earth-shaker, rivaled only by Clemson's final drive in the whiteout this year.

I hope to GOD they do that "B-flat tuning" song on EVERY down.

What time was the ND game in '06? I can't decide what effect the 6 pm kickoff will have on the noise level.

I can't think of another game I've been this excited for. 6 kick-off is perfect. BDS will be ROCKING.

Was that louder than ND 06?

Loudest game I've been to at BDS@HGF (or just HGF, I've been going since I was old enough to remember - around the early 80s). Even down by 21 (or 24, whatever it was) there was just a feeling that we were going to get it done that day.

That's Sir Ronald Cherry to you.

Do you have to address him as "Sir" if you are speaking about a video from before he was knighted?

That reminds me of ESPN Classic referring to St. John's circa 1985 as "The Red Storm" to be pc.

One of my biggest regrets is missing the Notre Dame game in 06. I couldn't get season's tickets (And I promised myself it would be the last and only time that will ever happen.) I believe I only got to go to two home games and the ACCCG that year.

I would love for BDS to be the madhouse I've heard the ND game was. I'll be doing my part.

I hate to say this, but I've been to every game that you guys listed above and to me the loudest I ever heard BDS was the thursday night NCST game in 2005. They ended up winning the game, but the entire second half was ridiculously loud especially the goal line stand where they scored on 4th down. Not so much a stand I guess but the crowd definitely did their part.

That ending was the biggest fluke I've probably ever seen, devastating after getting destroyed by VPI up in Blacksburg the week before.

I've never felt like a team deserved a mulligan except for that game. And yeah, it was loud. I still say that Maryland in 2001 was probably the loudest game I've ever been to. The loudest moment I've experienced at BDS was the fumble by Florida State last year. The only way I know to explain it was that the stadium exploded.

I was at FSU last year and it was not as loud as Notre Dame to me in 06 when they gave the flagrant foul on Wheeler for tatooing Brady Quinn.

Neither were louder to me than NCST in 2005. My ears hurt at that game and that never happens.

You know, I was at BDS for the Sanks fumble and BDS wasn't all that loud then. Probably because of the hordes of UGA fans in the stadium.

I hope the stadium is so loud all the VPISU fans think the stadium is going to break, but the GT fans around them tell them "Let your heart not be trouble, for this stadium was designed by a ramblin' gamblin' helluva engineer!"

LET'S GO JACKETS!!!!!!!!!!! (+ ∞)
