Agreed. What this does, though, is make it very unlikely to get in without an SEC championship. If 12-0 Bama beat 12-0 Georgia in the SEC championship, people would make a case for Georgia over one of the other conference champions. That's much less likely if the SEC championship gives them 2 losses.

Well said. That bullshit "holding" call in the end-zone beats all I've ever seen. It gifted UGA 7 points. Don't think the refs are stupid--- it's all about the $$$. And the SEC took a big hit today.

It gives them no margin for error. They're not getting in unless they win out.
 
I seriously doubt UGA gets in even if they win the SEC. They lost to an unranked team at home. Unless a bunch of these top teams lose 2 I don’t see it. This could be the year where the committee throws the SEC under the bus and tries to appease everyone else since the perception is the SEC gets the breaks (which they do). I think Auburn gives them a 2nd loss anyway.
