Lucas Johnson Sighting

I could see if he attended legitimate schools after Tech, or some that might propel him into The League. But San Diego State and Montana? Give me a motherööööing break!

Time to enter the real world, son.
Josh Allen, Jimmy Garapollo, Ben Roethlisberger, Bailey Zappe, etc.

... That's all well and good, but do you think for a second that this grown ass man will ever get a taste of The League? Nice guy or not, it ain't gonna happen.
It doesn’t matter, dude is going out and getting another degree for free, he’s gonna be set for life.

Kinda-random master's degrees definitely have diminishing returns, it's not like someone sees that you have a bachelor's, master's, and another master's and then go 'wow, I should pay him three times as much!' They're definitely not worth more than just having 'was a high-level CFB player' on your resume with a bachelor's imo.

So what? He's 24 year old taking advantage of an opportunity to play one last year of organized football for the rest of his life

Very rare is the case where people look back and say, "Damn, I wish I hadn't taken that extra year doing what I loved when I was young. My life would've been much more fulfilling if I had just spent that time doing one extra year of a boring corporate job."

The thing is that he’s getting these for free, and he can get a second degree to broaden his horizons.
