Even our predictable rise from projected last in the Coastal to the Division winner, complete with a second Clemson loss in the ACCCG will not lead to national attention. The nation will say Georgia Tech? You mean that high school offense school? Do they play college football, .... until it’s 1990 again.

wtf are you talking about? There have been several national stories about GT football this offseason.

You can be an asshole, fine, but dont be that asshole that argues for the dwags while being laughably wrong.

Well.... I did read quite a few articles written about GT football from national beat writers. All positive and upbeat articles too. I dont understand your point, though. Until we win another natty we will live in obscurity?

Then does every team not named Clemson or Alabama live in obscurity?

This is a pretty stupid fork this thread has taken. USC fans (the real USC in the west, not the fake one to the east) don't give two öööös about GT, or UGAg, or Florida, or any other school on the east coast except maybe for Notre Dame. To think somehow someone sitting in Eugene, Oregon or Pasadena, California is suddenly going to give a flying frog's ass about a southern east coast school because of a USA today article is dumb.

We have always gotten an article or two in SI, ESPN or USA Today. I don't really see much difference in national coverage. Yeah, article because we got a new coach. An article or so about ACC teams and the expected season results for each team. There really hasn't been that much nationally
 
GT has been mentioned on sports radio out here in the bay area, and Jim Rome had CGC on. That's not ALOT of national attention, but it's more than I've heard about GT since I moved out here 7 years ago.
