Mark "Sour Grapes" Bradley Article - My Jimmies are Rustled Edition

Bark wasn't a fan of O'Leary either. I recall when GOL left for ND Bark wrote a negative article regarding GOL's surly demeanor ...he referred to GOL as "Big Bee" throughout the article.

Bradley is a big ol' B.

He apparently "wrote" two hit pieces today.

Here's the text. Apparently we have only played 1 "true" road game. I guess going to ööööing Ireland isn't a road game.

A complete list of teams Georgia Tech has beaten since routing Mississippi State on New Year’s Eve in the 2014 Orange Bowl: Alcorn State, Tulane, Florida State, Boston College, Mercer, Vanderbilt and Georgia Southern.

Georgia Tech’s record against Power Five teams (plus Notre Dame) since losing the Orange Bowl to Iowa on Jan. 5, 2010: 32-36.

Georgia Tech’s ACC record (counting conference title games) since the 2009 season: 27-27.

Number of ACC programs that have hired new coaches since the 2013 season: Seven.

Georgia Tech’s national ranking in total offense in 2014: 19th.

Georgia Tech’s national ranking in total offense this season: 107th.

Georgia Tech’s national ranking in total defense this season: 32nd.

Number of true road games Tech has played this season: One.

Number of true road games remaining: Three.

Date of Tech’s last victory in a true road game: Nov. 29, 2014.

Bottom line: Maybe you’re among those expecting a big finish from the Yellow Jackets. Me, I’m expecting more of the same. The 11-3 of 2014 was glorious. It was also a blip.
Mark is a UGAG whore:furious:

In Johnson's interview with Schultz he took a shot at Bradley. Bradley apparently has butthurtitis and wrote an "article" that is just a listing of records and teams beaten since 2014.
Johnson just's needs to wise up and know he will never get the last word with a sports writer. Don't go down that road.

Here's one thing I really don't get about my fellow Tech folks and the media. For some unexplained reason there seems to be a belief that the Atlanta / Georgia media is going to experience an epiphany and fall in love with Georgia Tech. If it hasn't happened in the last 120 years, it ain't going to happen. Quit reading the ajc. Quit listening to sports talk. I know, I know, if we don't give them our input, if we don't react with truth when they spew lies we'll never get honest coverage. Look at the record. For how long have Tech fans been reacting with the "truth" and what has been the result? I quit the reading the ajc and listening to sports talk many years ago and while I may not know who the up and coming third team wide side linebacker is, or who the next "blue chip" Tech is recruiting, my blood pressure has never been better and I don't have all this pent up anger and anxiety about what the media is saying.

The AJC gave GT lots of positive press when Bobby Dodd was head coach but that was the last time. I believe Bobby Dodd and Furman Bisher were friends and i think Furman Bisher was the host of the Bobby Dodd Show in the 1950s.

I'm not sure where his stats come from but one stat from last yr per Phil steele magazine--in YDs per play which is not the end all but is very important -- GT offense was #52 and the DEf was #92, now we know statistics can say almost anything you want but this opposite to this article attempts to say

He starts off saying Tech ranks 107th in total yards as evidence our offense is bad. TOTAL YARDS IS NOT A GOOD MEASURE OF OFFENSE! Multiple obvious problems. It's almost as stupid as saying "Tech ranks 107th in pass completions! Their offense sucks!" Scoring efficiency is a much better statistic. But Bradley won't cite that ranking because it'd destroy his thesis.

Is accused of cherry picking stats.
Butthurt response is to cherry pick stats.

Furman Bisher was cut from a different cloth from the columnists at the AJC today. That was back when people actually received a printed newspaper everyday, and it was an important part of their daily routine. The AJC in its traditional form is entering a death spiral like most of the other newspapers around the country. Most of the people writing for newspapers will be out of journalism and will be teaching high school English in 5-10 years. CPJ might get the last word after all.

To call Bradley a pussy would be degrading to pussies who can't help themselves. This guy is a simple öööööööööööö. I didn't click your link because now that he's just a blog writer he probably gets rated by the ajc for the clicks he gets. I haven't read one of his nonsensical shock jock poems in ages. He's a total ööööing idiot who touches himself by bashing the local teams. öööö that guy. Build a wall
