Marshall

This. This right here. Ultimately, TQM won’t be remembered as a great or memorable QB. We won’t talk about him like Joe or Godsey or Joshua ööööing Nesbitt or JT. And probably not even like Reggie or AJ Suggs. We just won’t talk about him.

Looking forward to a mid tier bowl start for Oliver and a good spring next year and either TO or Lucas Johnson.
I kind of wonder what the past two years would have been like had we managed to complete a 17yd field goal against Tennessee. Say what you want about his overall career, but TM’s performance during that game will stay with me.

Or if he had pitched the ball to Benson on the 2 point conversion - which would have made it successful. We should have known right there he would have difficulty with running the option

Agree. Too bad his first game was arguably his greatest game....

Reggie has a resume of wins over a few top 10 teams. How is that comparable?

Comparing more to the initial excitement (Fla St. game comes to mind) and lack of development or progress over the years.

Don't get me wrong, RB was one of my favs.

Marshall could have never beaten that #3 Miami team

I won’t talk poorly about other players- against code.

But I will say I don’t own anything red and piss on dawgs instead of taking pictures with them.
I own two red shirts.
One is an Ohio State shirt a hot blonde has asked me to wear when we watch her team.
The other is a KC Chiefs shirt autographed by Butker.

That's it.

A 17 yard field goal is impossible. Maybe you meant 37? Or do you know the difference?

No impossible, but totally something Kirby Shart would do - which is to kick a field goal while on the 1 yard line.

NO! The shortest field goal possible is an 18 yarder. XPs are 20 yarders that are snapped from the 3 yd line. So, snapping from the 1 yard line would be 20-2= 18 yards.

Interesting. I was never a kicker, but I could swear I have seen some holders set 6 yards behind the line of scrimmage during kicks. I haven't come across a rule stating that the holder shall be 7 yards back, but I guess most do.

If the line of scrimmage is inside the one, a 7 yard snap would place the kick inside the 18 yard line.
