About to get canned from Carolina. As a multitude of others before him, tried his hand in the NFL and it isn't working. Likely, he will be available before seasons end. Record: Turned a dumpster fire around at Temple, went 10-2 with arguably worst facilities and situation in the country, including beating Penn State at Penn State. At Baylor, took over another dumpster fire after Baylor was almost given the death penalty for scandals under the previous staff. After his first season at 1-11, took Baylor to 7-6 and a bowl win, followed by 11-1 in 2019 and berth in the Sugar Bowl. Whether he is up for another rebuild of our magnitude would be questionable, but the guy can coach in tough situations.

If only his former assistants weren't part of the exsisting implosion of GT football!

So the guy about to get fired at Carolina is a Ford GT?
In college? Yes. He certainly has " tremendous amount of confidence based on demonstrated ability " based on his results of building programs at Temple and Baylor from the depths of hell.

He’s an upgrade over Collins. I’d bet someone gives him a lot of money though.
Good. Let Nebraska do it.
Too close of a friend to Clown for me to consider him running the Tech program. Need to remove the stench of Clown completely from the ATL and the 404. And the 770.
While we're at it, the 678. Maybe even the 706. Hell, let's throw in the 229 and the 478.

I’ve been in the used car business( or my dad had a lot at least) for the last 17 years. I know a thing or two and Ford has stepped up their drivetrain significantly. Still cheep tho.
I can’t trust no used car salesman

I'm not so sure they're friends. Honestly, I'd take Rhule, given his track record of turning around dumpster fires.

Rhule and Collins' career paths have never crossed that I can see. Still, the irony of the answer coming from the same stop that destroyed us

How many times are we going to make a thread for this guy? I’m not taking another chance on a Temple coach.

But he was actually a Temple coach that did well, and their fans loved him. Then he took Baylor to the Sugar Bowl in year 3 after their program was in disarray from off field scandals under Briles.

There's enough evidence to suggest he's a good college coach.
