Evidently, he thought he could just transfer to any div1aa team & be eligible to play. He must've thought that since he was no longer at FSU that all schools would look at him as a prized football player & forget that he still has to answer in court for a couple of felonies & a misdemeanor.
When Murray St would not allow him to play until he cleared up his legal problems, he dropped out. Perhaps it was too much to expect of himself that he could go to school out of state, play football there & continue to wrestle with serious legal problems in Fla.
