Merry Christmas Stingtalkers!

A can of worms has certainly been opened from this Hijacked thread. LOL :))

When our young'uns were coming up, we learned right quick that their curiosity was no less than our's when we came up. Matter of fact, they would come near destroying gifts while attempting to figure out what was inside.

To remedy this, we quit putting their names on the gifts and went to a code system. Each member of the family had a coded name that only wife & I knew. Funny to say now, but it only made matters worse. Not only did they have gifts to decide what was in each, they had codes to decifer.

Yep, Christmas got to be a real blast at our house.

I have a question to ask, as I'm quite perturbed right now.

I grew up opening presents under the tree, my wife grew up with Santa and nothing wrapped.

I don't like this method and made my feelings known at 2:30 this morning while we put Santa out for the kids.

How do y'all do it regarding the kids these days?

My wife grew up like you; I grew up like your wife. I suggest you meet somewhere in the middle. That's what we have done. Santa leaves a few unwrapped so they can wake up and do their thing and then we unwrap most together as a family around the tree.
