There were some other OGs at that first tailgate on 5th Street six years ago, including @Architorture23, @GTSaxophone, and @beej67 - I think @ContactBuzz was there as well ... oh, and @KrazieJacket and his dad.

Architorture has been at every tailgate this year. DCSS made it to a few. Krazie and Contact used to come. I haven't seen either in years. Loss of both TIA and Flunkout really killed us. Add the early kickoffs thanks to GTAA and we averaged 5 people a tailgate this season. And 2 of those are me and cyp.
 
Although the last two games since we moved to the bridge it's been much much better. W21 kinda sucks.

I stopped by several times last year... Too drunk to remember?

talked with my group and if you guys stay on the bridge next year, we'll just meld in with you each week. newsflash, I'll have a 6 month old baby to go along with my 3 y.o. come next season and my other most committed tailgater moved to Pensacola in the offseason. He has made it to every game but our tailgates haven't reached epic proportion like they did in years' past (at least in our minds.)

I keep in touch with Krazie some and don't know really know why he's bailed. Some work stuff but more of a complete indifference, I think.
 
all im gonna say is that my first memory of a stingtalk tailgate was meeting up with corndog near the stadium where navy rotc used to be. cant remember who else showed up, but i think cyptom and akinji were there. basically, we stood there with a 12pack and yall were drinking while i was heckling people

not much has changed

ps: some people arent there bc of new babies and preggers and stuff, or moving out of state.
 
You guys should definitely trial a tailgate at the Varsity lot for the UVA game. Quite a few recent players show up there, and the tailgate captain of the lot is super cool.

I tailgates in the V lot for years and it was always fun. hot on the asphalt... but always a good crowd on the upper tier and we got to know the FSU fans up there well. But it's $30 to park there, sometimes more, and we all got tired of that. the bridge is more comfortable, has better scenery, good access to our parking, etc. only downside is not tailgating right at the vehicle so tear down and pack up is a hassle.

I'll pay the extra $5 0r $10 bucks to not have to schlep stuff back to my car. No one here should be sweating $5 or $10 a home game. If you are, you shouldn't be tailgating!
 
I move my tailgate between my backyard and my garage. Anyone who ends up in this part of the country if welcome to come and smell the smoke from my egg.

I went to every game from the time I was enrolled as a student until I moved to Indiana. I'm pretty sure I've been to more away games than home games since.
