I just don't think Miami's O will be potent enough against the better defenses out there. Then again, I'm not sure how great most of the ACC defenses are. I'm thinking VATech will win in their matchup with UM.

VPI's offense is anemic. I honestly don't see Miami losing another game. Maybe Clemson can beat them? They should beat VPI, and I would bet good money that they shred OU.

Of course, I'm pulling for VPI, I just don't get a good feeling about that game.

Clemson and OU are the only question marks left on their schedule. VT looked very bad against Nebraska.

If you want to get analytical about it and just look at who the teams in the top 10 have beaten thus far, --then Miami deserves to be #1 as much as anybody else ...'thus far'.

Miami has defeated FSU and GT --and looked very good doing it I might add.

Other teams have played the likes of Charleston So., Troy, LA Monroe, FIU, N Texas, SE LA, Akron, Temple, E Mich, LA Lafayette, Miami Ohio, Idaho St, Tulsa.
