Miami @ FSU

I think I saw this thread two weeks ago.

The consensus was rooting for Free Shoes.

I am rooting for an excellent game. I want it to be a nail biter for Miami and FSU fans. I'm looking forward to seeing how these two clubs have improved or worsened since last season.

FSU win in dominating fashion. "the U" is young and to get beat in a bad way right off the bat may demoralize them.

I guess it's true that an FSU win is more likely to help us directly, but at least if Miami wins (esp if they win impressively), our Thursday night game with them will be more hyped and more promoted and it will make us look better if we beat them.

Or get them desperate for a win since the two games that follow are much harder to win for them.

I can see why you would argue that OU will be a tougher game than us. But VT a tougher game than GT?????? I disagree.

Well I consider a game you get at home on a thurs night with a bye week beforehand to be easier than traveling to an unfriendly stadium to face the previous conference champion.

I wouldn't mind Miami winning, if things happen like last year in the ACC, they're almost guaranteed to loose the next game.

Since we play Miami week 3, we want them to have a loss to FSU by then, in addition to the fact they are in our division. I'll pull for FSU for those reasons, though I really prefer Shannon and the U to Bowden and the Noles.

their game was crazy last season regardless, but yes we should be pulling for FSU. They played in the middle of the season last year, I used to always think it was the opener with them, like this year?
But anyways, considering it will be the first game of the year, and how high scoring it was last year, could be another shoot out
