Because we have CONSISTENTLY had trouble with the tight end(i.e. BC and UVA).....

First off, if he is on the rush he could blow the tight end up, get him off his route or knock him down, and then continue on to the quarterback.'

Or, as he does sometimes anyways drop back into coverage and blanket the tight end. He's is fast, big(WHAT 6'7!!!!) strong and the best part----ATHLETIC. I can see him just being near the right place at the right time and coming up with some picks. Or, blowing up, no excuse me, exploding receivers in the middle of the field.

Michael Johnson is simply a beast. He looks like the jolly green giant in person. Simply crazy beast-like.

Wait till Hall gets healthy!! he is lightning quick on the edges- we just haven't seen it yet

Michael Johnson is by far my favorite player on our roster.

We could actually have a better DE tandem next year with MJ and Morgan. Scary athleticism.

If only we could find that elusive shutdown corner. Or better yet, two of them...

imo... m. burnett would be a perfect shutdown corner. and then replace the safety position with a bigger guy that can lay the wood (a la greg blue or bob sanders from indianapolis)
