Miles/Tenuta rumors on ESPN

Anyway...supposing the rumors are true then...maybe we could hire Hatcher, promote Giff Smith to DC, and bring back Collins....assuming that Hatcher wouldn't have any objections to that set up...
Hatcher has already spoken to Giff. Muschamp has contacted Geoff. It's very likely those two will be offered positions by whomever is selected.

Tenuta supposedly interviews very poorly. After listening to his radio interviews I'm not surprised. Also, HC is a totally different position than OC/DC. Just because one guy is (arguably) a better coordinator than another doesn't necessarily guarantee that he is a better HC.

I didn't catch the ESPN clip. Has he been interviewed or even contacted? Isn't he already the highest paid coordinator in the country?

I'm sure he's been contacted. Miles is currently in Atlanta...

Michigan will probably pay him quite a big increase. They can afford to.

I know JT is well regarded and, maybe, rightfully so.

But don't you think we can find someone else to cuss up a storm and tell the defensive captain to rush five guys? -)

If that is all you think he is doing then you are watching a different team.

Ok, to add to this. I just got a call from a friend over at another school. Sounds like LSU might be looking for a new coach and Mich could come out announcing Les Miles as their new coach tomorrow. Bad timing in my opinion with the SEC Champ Game Saturday, apparently he already told the team today. Its weird that they kept saying they wouldn't talk till after the game which makes sense but who knows. You know its hard to resists.

Anyways I guess we might be hearing that tomorrow or maybe they hold it off till Monday. Not my info though just what I was told by a person I trust at LSU.

I posted the above statement at 1am on Friday morning after I was called, there was a reason I was called, I dont give two cents about LSU or Mich but how it affects GT with a certain person. Like I said I trusted my source at LSU, and it is accurate.

Also Jon will still coach the bowl game regardless, he would not leave these kids hanging.

I heard him on 790 and 680 and thought he was very good both times. What didn't you like?

Wow this is getting weird, LSU is scheduling a 1:50 presser at the Dome saying that Miles will stay.

That is good news for us if Miles stays I would think. Any chance that Fisher gets back in the mix if LSU and Auburn are not going to open up?

Not so good in some aspects because if Tenuta was already in talks to go with Miles, then odds are he'll go fill Pelini's spot.

Fisher would have to really show interest to get back in the picture, he almost blew his welcome I think.

Per ESPN reporting that MILES is STAYING at LSU per Herbstreet...
This is nuts....saying that Miles will hold a press conference shortly to announce his intentions of staying at LSU...anther TWIST to the soap opera

If you notice in Les' statement, he really does not say he will not interview with Michigan after the SEC championship game. He was elusive and just said he is the coach. Really didn't say anything at all.
