Military Bowl Game Thread - Navy vs Pitt

Felt great to see Pitt kicker Blewitt's season long on the screen (56 yards, which was the game winner against us) just before he pretty much kicked a short field goal out of the side of the end zone.

So Navy just introduced a new formation. Double wing w/ no Bback

AKA the standard 5 wide run and shoot.

Did they put the B back in motion, or did they actually sub him out for another A?

Edit: NM, I think beej's question will answer mine.

Navy's 180 1st half rush yds are 2nd-most allowed by Pitt in a game this season. Most came against another triple-option team: Georgia Tech.

Navy looking real skrong. It really is nice to have a reminder of how fun the flexbone is when it's being run well. That being said, I'd like to see Pitt stop throwing interceptions and turn this into a game.

@ESPNStatsInfo
With his 48 yard run, Keenan Reynolds now has the most career rush yards by a QB in FBS history with 4,518 yards.

Stepped away for 10 minutes and Pitt scored twice.

The Pitt postgame celebration after the 3rd quarter was lame considering they are losing.

If they had managed to get a stop on either 4th down, it would have looked marginally less lame. But yeah. Nifty bit of running on that navy TD.

Do these announcers not understand how jumping offside works?
