MJ ripped for "no heart"

It looks like only 2 DE's cleared the 30 mark, and they were both around 4" shorter than MJ. It will be intersting to see where MJ's ends up if you look only at the DE's.

More info on MJ. He tied for first with Barwin Connor of Cincy in the broad jump. He also placed 3rd in the 20 yard shuttle.

He did not place in the bench or the 3 cone shuttle. FWIW, Connor came in 2nd in the 40 yard dash, and placed first out of all the DLineman in every event except the bench. That guy is tearing it up.

Yeah, Connor has really exploded -- and went to Senior Bowl and mainly played TE there. Has been DE only 1 season--this last one, and people are also talking about him as a OLB, especially in a 3-4. Appears to be a legit stud at either DE or OLB--just raw.

I saw the panel of 4 on the NFL network without mayock (must have asked him to leave) Gruden was getting a chubby over MJ and said he would take him and put him everywhere. Reality is, MJ is going to have to work on his run defense but it looks as if his stock has risen. Great for him.

I don't know too much of Mayock's history, but it seems like he enjoys picking out someone everybody is high on and giving some outlandish criticism. Last year it was Darren McFadden. I think for a long time he didn't even have McFadden as one of the top 20 players in the draft.

If he was that good at evaluating talent, they'd be doing it for one of the teams in the NFL and not the NFL Network.
