I really doubt anyone actually buys those $1000+ tickets on stubhub.

Yeah, it suprised me too! I was planning on dropping them down to about 750 before the game. They were $460 face value, behind home plate at Yankee stadium.

The most expensive GT vs. UGA tickets I sold (I had season tickets in upper west and had to go out of town) was for $250 a peice. Sold all four of them on craigslist. Made sure the guy was a GT fan...

Awesome, you sound like the type that endorses the "spread the wealth around" idea. Multiple people were bidding on my tickets. I took the highest bidder. I guess you would have donated them. Have fun with that buddy ...

While I do not agree with lax's response to you, no need to get on to people who do donate tickets. I usually do give away my tickets to the games I cannot attend -- actually, Lax is one of those I gave my tix to one game. Some of us do not mind the small financial loss to make sure our seats are filled with Yellow Jackets.

I have no problem with other people donating, but if they are going to get into my business, then I am going to get into their business. No worries, I don't have season tickets any more because I am out of state. You can now sleep at night knowing that there is one less season ticket holder who would sell their tickets because they need the money and can't make the game. Excuse me for not being wealthy enough to just give away all of the season tickets I had to games I couldn't make.

You seldom agree with anything I say, but we had a good time at the game that day, and thanks again for the Tix! Too bad it was the loss to UVA.

Interesting article about pricey tickets around the country at different schools. Makes me feel good to see that somebody possibly bought $2000 tix for the game of us vs U[sic]ga last year to watch them get beat.

BTW, If anyone knows someone willing to pay this much for a ticket this year at BDS, please message me. LOL.

Please please please don't be the guy to sell them to a f'n UGAy fan. No matter the $$$

Oh come on. Just about every stadium, school, team in the country, you name it, has tickets for sale to fans of the opposing team. The idea that it's okay to have an entire visitors' section designated for selling tickets to UGA fans yet it's NOT okay for someone to sell their tix to the highest bidder on Ebay is a little stupid to me.

Where did you see that that was the price for the Tech game?

It's a little stupid to you that Georgia Tech fans don't want tickets sold to their arch rivals? Do you think most fans think it's okay to have a designated visitors section or just a necessary evil? I think you need some new perspective if you don't see why we want to keep U[sic]GA fans out of our stadium as much as possible.
