Like we didn't see this article coming from a mile away... apparently they understand the secret to winning, too... stay disciplined...

“I might call [former MSU linebacker] Dominic Douglas to see what their wishbone is like,” said Chaney, a Fort Pierce, Fla., native and former Georgia signee. “I know a lot of dudes, too, who play for the University of Miami, who just played them. I am going to call all of them to see what they did to slow them down.
s***... it's over...

Yeah a bunch of 18-22 year old kids are going to know how to stop CPJ who has been doing it for 28 years. They would have better luck praying that our players forget how to block again.

Am I the only one who doesn't find this very funny considering what Miami did to us? Not that I think this will really help them, but somehow making fun of Miami for things related to stopping our offense has just lost its luster.

It's funny because MSU is not Miami.

It's funny because MSU is not Miami.

And because they didn't make AA decide he'd rather dive at players feet than make effective blocks. Or force our WR's to either miss blocks or block in the back when they did block.

And Miami had more than a week to prepare. We were able to see how much of advantage that gives you this past week against UNC. This MSU guy better listen to his coaches to be on page with the rest of his defense because it's a team effort to stop the option.

The SEC Speed joke is so fast it's still funny.

Most jokes are reciprocal, ie old jokes become funny again after time, but SEC speed is so fast that we just think it's still new. SEC speed has been around since the dawn of time.

I'll tell you how to beat us right now. Have 2 DTs good enough to take care of the GCG as well as the dive man, and combine that with our guys not blocking very well on the perimeter. Game won.

But most teams don't have DTs good enough to do that (especially if we block as well agianst them as we did against UNC, which still wasn't great), and the As have started to do better perimeter blocking.

We might get beat, if they're the better team on Saturday (I doubt it) but it won't be due to an innovative scheme or some sort of secret blueprint.

In the beginning SEC Speed created the heavens and the earth...

When Moses parted the Red Sea it was the Israelites, with their SEC speed, that were able to cross --and the Egyptian Army, strong defensively, but lacking in offense, with only ACC speed to compensate, that succumbed and drowned once the waters returned.

or is it so fast that it actually travels backwards through time, thus giving it the appearance of being around for longer than it actually has been?

Jasper Sanks accidentally travelled back in time to right before his knee hit the ground and fumbled. Only the speedy-eyed SEC referrees were able to see it....
