MSU land mine

VANDY is the team that scares the heck out of me. Bobby Johnson is a coach, much like Jim Grobe is a coach, much like Paul Johnson is a coach.

Sure, there are no real big games for us to look ahead/behind to, but Vandy is a well coached, smart, disciplined team that knows and stays within their responsibilities. That game, and the game after it (Wake) frighten me much much more than MSU.

Since you're making coach comparisons, CPJ is 4-2 head-to-head against Bobby Johnson. Not saying we should overlook Vandy because they are well coached and will not make many mistakes. In the realm of cerebral teams, I'm much more concerned with WF.

How boring would the season be if we didn't play anybody we had to worry about? That's kind of the point of the whole deal isn't it?

While B. Johnson will certainly be familiar w/CPJ's schemes from the Div. Iaa days, Wake has a huge advantage over Vandy--Wake's players should be familiar w/the scheme, while Vandy's will not.

They played Navy twice last year and will play them again a few weeks before we play them. I think that Wake could be a tough one--thankfully, they lost their best defensive players.

Yeah, the thought of a boring schedule full of meaningless games against creampuff opponents almost makes me feel sorry for Notre Dame fans. Almost. Well not really, I will always hate Notre Dame fans no matter what. One thing that nobody can deny: Their head coach is a genius and is one hell of a good-looking man.
