And O'Leary & Friedgen were friendly and affable! LOL
you have never heard Jon I guess
I am not close on this subject so I could be way off. But why would we make the same mistake again and not hire the (offensive) successful coordinator?
demjackets
The mighty Mark Richt does not carry himself that way...matter of fact neither does Tommy Tuberville.
Picture Reggie Ball being a coach for uga.
My world = rocked.Picture Reggie Ball being a coach for uga.
Welcome to 2007. I'm getting pretty pissed reading your neutral (re: mediocre) post. Watch yourself. Some are all hyped up because of a 10 second video on youtube?
hivered, I have no idea if he would be a good HC or not, but it that youtube clip is what has you fired up I don't understand you at all. I want to know how many college coaches/players don't curse during games. And if you tell me Chan doesn't that makes absolutely no difference to me. I curse, I don't care if coaches/players do. I didn't hear or see anything in that clip that would bother me one little bit.NO WAY I want Muschamp for the leader and representative of the Georgia Institute of Technology's football program. He is a UGA grad-1994...and that may be the best part about him. He lacks the social tact necessary to be a head coach and direct other coordinators that would hopefully be great. Go listen to interviews with him.
Remember...a head coach that was a great coordinator does not get to be a coordinator anymore...they simply do not have the time.
Talk about a roll of the dice!
NCJacket.....If you read hivered's post he is refering to many interviews not just the youtube post. Anyone that has been around college football the last couple of years is very aware of Muschamp's many goofs behind the microphone. He is not the guy you want representing your team as a head coach. The youtube was posted by someone else, and was another example, but not the only refernece by hiveredtech. If Muschamp is hired you will still have division among the Tech fanbase. This will stem from not only the people that do not want a UGA grad, but also those that would like a head coach with Character.
I can not believe people are willing to sacrifice the integrity of the program for more wins. This you tube clip pales in comparison to the things I have read about this coach. I am proud to be a graduate of Tech, and will not let some idiot like this come in and ruin the good name of the program at. People need to take a step back and remember that Tech has always been about winning the right way. You have to have class to do it, and Muschamp has demonstrated time and again that he has none.
