Looks like there’s at least one Mutt fan arguing on there for the SEC to bring us back in just to keep the B10 from getting a foothold in Atlanta.

Varied and very interesting comments there. It looks like some non-GA fans in the SEC would be fine with it, but the mutts seem all to be against it.

How many thousands of Big 10 alumni you think there are in Atlanta area already?
Ohio State's been recruiting - very strongly - in Georgia for years. Ohio State has six guys from Georgia on their roster for this season. They've got a commitment from the No. 2 QB in the state for 2024. So too has Michigan State. They had seven signees from Georgia in 2022.
Big 10 don't need us for exposure in Atlanta and Georgia.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Win. Winning solves most of those issues. You win, you fill the stadium, you fill the athletic association's coffers. Lose, and you don't.

I wouldn't mind going back to the SEC. For once a team would be added to a conference that geographically aligns with said conference. But I don't see it happening.

Should have won 09, 13, and 15 at home too. So many close games that we lost on the last series.
