Double cheese burger, fries and a coke at Varsity. Varsity = industrial hamburger complex. Never seen anything like that. We don't eat chili dogs with slaw on it in Texas.
My 2 GT connections: Andy McCollum coached at Baylor in the 90's and
Drew McGee men's asst golf coach played at Baylor.
I think Clemson will take away the inside run and the yards will be tough for Marshall. The rocket toss and option pitch have to yield some big plays. Surely CPJ will make Clemson pay this year for blitzing their corners and leaving the wideouts uncovered on some plays.
None of the teams we have played to date (including Tennessee) have the linemen that Clemson has. If you can penetrate with your linemen and make it tough for the QB to have time to throw the downfield pass, it makes the strategy of firing the corners more effective. Or at least it has for them 4 out of the last 5 times we've played them.Interesting that you bring up Clemson's "fire the corners" strategy. AFAIK, no one has ran this against us this season. It will be interesting to see how our guys handle this if they stay true to this. Would be very effective in the rain, I have to imagine. Impetus is on coaching our guys up to handle it and get the playcalling right to boot.

Personally, I'm waiting on the rocket toss sweep where the A-back pulls up and throws the ball downfield just prior to the LOS. Complete one of those for a TD and every other rocket toss will be more effective if the A-back just bluffs a throw.
