It's already made the WSB noon news. No doubt it will be a front page story in the AJC tomorrow.

No telling what sort of memorial events they will have for the "winningest dog in UGA history."

Uga VI, Georgia’s beloved English bulldog mascot, died Friday night in Savannah, Cecelia Seiler confirmed Saturday morning.

“He didn’t suffer,” Seiler said of her 10-year-old dog. “He lived right here in my den with me for 10 years. He was a happy dog.”


Uga VII’s readiness to take the field for the 2008 football season is a topic for school officials, Cecilia Seiler said, and none could be reached immediately Saturday morning.


Sonny Seiler, whose family has owned all the dogs, was at his office Saturday morning, his wife said, and could not be reached for comment or to add details on the dog’s death.


Uga VI took the reins from Uga V early in the 1999 season. He turned 10 in July and would have been the only one of the dogs other than Uga I to serve past his 10th birthday.

I hope our bulldog, Fat Boy, lives to be 10. He's currently 4. I believe he will be the winningest Buzzdawg of all time.

I understand that the mutt was a genetic eunuch (too much inbreeding) and produced no offspring. Does anyone know where dumb mutt VII will come from? Is Dumb Mutt VI's family "tree" like U[sic]GA's fans in that it lacks branches?

Sort of like last year when UGAy fans took so much joy in the Wreck being totaled? OR how the georgia sports blog offered a reward for the first dumbass dawg to break and enter to get pictures of it? Take your sorry imbred-redneck ass off the free wifi at mcdonalds and get back to the frier.
 
You guys claim to be so much better than UGA fans but you're just as classless. This is a death. not a car being totaled. There's a big difference, and if you can't see that then you're a lot dumber than you claim.
