NC STATE - RUTGERS thread...

I'm not near a TV and following the game on Gamecast. How did he get hurt? And is he definitely out for the remainder?

I was sleeping when he got hurt, so im not sure about how he got hurt.

But i saw him run out of the tunnel and back on the field. He is still not in the game.

NCstate is choking this one away.
Daniel Evans is now the QB.

He was scrambling for a first down (which he got) and landed on his right knee bad. He played the next two plays (quick throw to the corner then a handoff) for the NCS touchdown at the end of the second half. The announcers said they heard he was out for the game then he jogged out of the locker room with a brace on the knee. Haven't seen him on the field yet.

These announcers ...

Bad coaching once again gives a game away for the ACC.

I was watching the Miami game the other night and the announcers said "the ACC wants to win after having a down year this year." The perception is still there after week 1, regardless of how we finished and we are giving the northeast media everything they need to come at us.

Hopefully NC State can show better clock management and play calling in these 47 seconds than Pat Nix did...

The good news? Rutgers was a 7 point favorite and won by 6.

The ACC is 5-0 against the spread.

What started out as a legitimate question has since become rhetorical: What in the ever-lovin' hell was Tom O'Brien thinking when he left BC to take over NC State?

And to think we almost hired him.

In non-ACC circles all that matters are bowl wins and losses. We're 2-3.
yes, with 5 more games to go. Again, why are you embarrassed? The #10 ACC team just lost to the #4 BE team when they're QB went down injured.

He was thinking, "I am going to make more money." And he was thinking, "I can turn any team into a winner."

I know NC State sucks. You do too. Most everyone on these boards does. But people that bash the ACC or don't respect it (most of the country) only see 2-3. You're arguing with me as if I'm those people, and I'm not. However, I hate seeing ammo handed to them.

Well, you said you were embarrassed. And those "other people" can't make you feel embarrassed if you know better.

FTR, only the truly ignorant still hold onto the idea that the ACC was weak. People who watch the games certainly know better. The FSU game featured some compelling stats on the season.

Well the nice thing is we can still lose 2 more bowl games and break even.

If the ACC goes .500 this year, it will win 5 bowl games, which would be solidly more wins than any other conference, guaranteed.
