NCAA Eligibility Ruling

Please God yes. Although I would expect the Alabamas, LSUs and other powerhouses to cherry-pick the top guys. I'd want it just for the lolz.

Can B10 and PAC players transfer with immediate eligibility?
Seems is would be too late on the academic side. The factories would “find a way” but no way a school with integrity like Tech would allow late enrollment.

Seems like the NCAA's decision, while causing more problems than it solves IMO, at least is favorable to schools in Tech's situation (lot of young people on the roster, transfers on last year or waiting for eligibility). More importantly than Gibbs, we can now get Sims on the field and in the offense. More importantly than Sims, we can now get a year of real PT for every freshman OL. And perhaps best of all, we get a mulligan on Antonneous's ineligibility last year.

Clayton will be doing everything possible to be in the NFL next year. Barring something very out of the ordinary or a bad injury, I don't see him coming back for another year.

And more power to him. I hope he goes at #1 and his division's QBs wet their beds at the thought.

I generally agree, just depends on what kind of season he has. It's not always a done deal

This Spring will be wild. Seniors that would have used up their eligibility will be deciding if they want to play another season. I assume they can also transfer which adds more complexity. 2021 recruits and the schools will have to factor which seniors decide to return into their decisions.
Players like Ryan Johnson and Pressly Harvin can evaluate their draft position and decide whether to stay. I presume the school can decide which would be seniors will be retained.

Is he that good? 3 solo tackles in 3 seasons to the NFL would be a pretty big jump.
