Nell Fortner for Head Football Coach

Well, she did coach a series of plays in last year's spring game, and, as I remember, she did pretty good. So you might be onto something. However, I think she might make a better AD, because I think she has some common sense.

I think she would be a good AD, too. She is the person in the entire GTAA that I have the most confidence in. I even give Stansbury credit for hiring her, and I haven't been exactly crazy about him lately. But, he hit a home run and struck gold, when he hired her.

Have you paused to consider that the reason she’s a good WBB coach isn’t just because she has the magic coaching gene but also because she knows something about WBB?

And probably doesn't know that much about football. I feel very silly responding to OP's suggestion seriously.

Yea, I did consider that. But, I'm convinced that great leaders have such a big gift for leadership that they can successfully lead any group in anything. She can learn what she needs to learn about the details of football. But, people who know a lot about football cannot learn to be a great coach. It's a gift. We need to take full advantage of her gift.

She has the special gift that all great coaches have. Not many people have it.

I believe she would be great at coaching any sport. If she were named our head football coach:

- It would be the lead story on every sports show.

- Everybody in the country would be watching every game we play next year.

- Sisters, mothers, girl friends and others would encourage a lot of high school stars to come to Tech.

And here's my favorite part. She would win big.

She may not have experience coaching football, but she knows how to handle people and hire great assistants.

Some of the best women's basketball coaches are men, so why shouldn't a great female coach get a chance at football?

To Nell With Georgia!
I want Collins gone as much as anyone but, i would not go this far

Women can't, and shouldn't ever lead men...anybody who disagrees can gtfo.

Unless of course it's some kind of knitting class.
The 19th amendment was the big bang of the simping universe and Kamala Harris becoming president will be its heat death.

Hillary Clinton has managed the State Department, maybe she would be a good coach for GT and she needs a job. It would be a huge story on CNN. Maybe if Nell takes the football job, Hillary could replace her.
