Okay so in this article
http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/preview?gameId=292900059
"Virginia Tech has won four of six meetings against Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets haven't beaten the Hokies at home since 1990."
But this is not true, http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=262730259
Suck it ESPN.
Vandy has done weirder things.THREADJACK: UGA Vandy predictions? I wish I believed Vandy could beat 'em. But to me the real question is by how much will the dreaded dawgs prevail. Will UGA attempt to make a big statement this week and beat em 56-3? Or will they continue to struggle and have a 19-13 type win?
If they did lose to Vanderbilt and then we beat Va Tech....
No, I don't even want to start teasing myself about that.
Vanderbilt is the most sporadic team I've ever seen. Having my mother an alum of the school and my sister currently attending I've watched them consistently be inconsistent all of my life.Vandy did lose to Army last Saturday, so UGA should win easily. Yet, I have a feeling Vandy will give them a game.
Maybe Willie Martinez can pave the way for a Vandy win.Vandy nearly always plays UGAg tough. Could've beat them last year, should've beat them in '07, did beat them in '06. Back in '03 when UGAg was in the Top-5, Vandy led 2-0 at the half, and trailed 10-8 until late in the 4th.
It's doable, and these UGAg teams aren't near as good as those were.
Kids are kids. Perhaps Vanderbilt was guilty of looking ahead to Georgia.
