Did you notice the pictures of the new scoreboard on GT's website have the following score:

Jax St - 0
GT - 40

I think its the 2nd quarter too. :woot:
 
That was team scrimmaging each other yesterday 1's vs. scouts playing as Jax St.
 
The score is too small! You could barely read it in the pic from midfield. Maybe they can display it on the board itself.
 
Hopefully that silly ribbon scoreboard (what the hell do you call those?), will not distract our players too much.

I'm more worried it'll distract our fans. The one in the south end zone looked like it was prepped to show scores from other games (seen from a great distance so room for error).
 
When I attended the Saturday scrimmage on GT encounter day, the video board was malfunctioning. It was said later that is was overheating due to the smaller casing they had to use during installation. Does anyone know if they have resolved this?

Judging from the pictures on the link posted on the previous page, it's working.
 
I think I read it's the board going up on the North end that was having issues. Not sure though.

Yes, when DRad introduced all the changes that were going to be made he said they where gonna have the game situation info on all 4 sides for both sidelines and units on the field to see. This was one reason "Welcome to BDS@HGF" was moved to the South EZ.

I suspect the score is as big as it ever was, but it looks small compared to the size of the screen. If you need a sign to tell you the score, though, you're not paying enough attention to the game.
