GT fanbase favorite whipping boy, Tevin Washington, is returning this season as a GA for the offense. I hope there is a new appreciation for what Tevin brought to this offense. I will never take 30+ppg for granted again

He played up to his capacity and handled himself professionally. A good GT rep.

I'm very happy Tevin has decided to come back. He's a Tech man and I've always thought he deserved more respect than he received on the message boards from the asshats.

He was never a whipping boy. He played hard.

Whatchyall talkin bout... I thought Reggie was the whipping boy of former QBs on Stingtalk.

the offense in Tevin's tenure was öööö efficient and broke a ton of records. Awesome to have him back.

Good to hear, I always stuck up for Tevin. If he had last year's defense, everyone would remember him differently. He was never our biggest problem, arguably, he was not a problem. We could work the offense around his weaknesses and toward his strengths. Good guy, good to see him involved with the program.

alot of QBs become message board whipping boys right wrong or indifferent. not just at tech. part of the position.

tevin's issues were at end of games (ints in a few, uga, vt, fsu just off the top...miami i think too); and the fact is GT was overwhelmed by alot of big boy teams...but we were just not that good like this past year

Tevin had his ups and downs. He was an underrated athlete and on the whole a pretty good decision maker with a few painful exceptions. I think his understanding of the offense was fairly complete, and he'll contribute a lot on the sideline. Maybe we'll see him coaching the option some day. If he'd had any semblance of a defense on his team, he'd be remembered a lot more fondly and would have received way less abuse on the forum.

This is good news. Tevin ran the offense well. He didn't have a cannon arm or elite speed, but those aren't things he could teach to players anyway.

A few of the 'end of game' issues came after leading a go-ahead TD drive late in the 4th quarter, only to have the defense give up another score. You could argue that a good QB should be able to do it twice, but this is the reason I say his legacy would be totally different with 2016's defense.
