New GA: GT's favorite QB

Unfortunately Vad was unteachable, because Tevin was a great QB instructor.

He was a mediocre athlete who ran the offense very well. Unfortunately, given how our defense was when he played, that was not enough, and most people knew it.

Based on what? I like Vad fine and pulled for him to succeed after he left. However, his game seems to be based on being the best athlete on the field, which he was in High School and in the FCS. That's not something he could teach.

Actually, I think we might have. I say that recognizing that after 2014 you have to acknowledge Justin has a higher ceiling. But, in 2015 we may have discovered Justin has a lower floor. His body language after the losses started was pretty bad at times. It seemed his frustration kept him from being the positive leader you need the QB to be when the team is struggling. And, he will "leave the script" and improvise more when things break down, leading to bigger losses and mistakes. So, maybe a Tevin style QB might have helped. Who knows?

Strongly doubt it. JT5 was frustrated because he had 7 blockers on the line and only 2 seconds of protection. TW would have been just as frustrated.
