New GT beat writer for the AJC

I am disappointed, because I really appreciate the job Ken has done, and I also consider him a personal friend, having met him several times over the years, both in Atlanta and in, of all places, Dublin Ireland. He even joined up with my tailgate group several times over the years. I wish him the best, as I also wish for Chad.

So where is Ken going? dwags offer him more NIL?

I liked Ken and hate to see him go.

Didn't realize Ken had been covering us for 12 years. That's a long time.

Chad started out in statesboro
Hope his writing style has improved the years

This is a promotion for Ken

After the Willie Fritz bowl game press conference ambush I wondered how long he would hang around. I too liked his writing style and he seemed to do a good job covering GT sports.

My post from Apr 16
The biggest thing that stood out to me was the wide distribution of the ball among our offense. Faulkner seems to have a complete grasp of what everybody can do and what everybody is good at and how to call plays to put the players in the best position to move the ball.

The second biggest thing is the pass completion percentage and yards per completion. Not including the 0-3 by the two rookie QBs, the QB's were a collective 34-55 (62%) with no ints and a staggering 18 yards per completion. I realize Thack was playing with his hands behind his back but that is very encouraging. Also, we had fourteen different guys with at least one reception. Wow.
