And there's a difference between that and being disappointed in our players for enjoying themselves in a way that harms no one.

i tired of this thread after i read the title.

EDITED: Not taking a knock at the GTG's, but rather everyone complaining about them. If you don't like it, fine. Listen to something else, like 790 the zone, our "flagship" station with David Pollack.

Those are completely different things. Just saying that if the GTGs were from any other school in the country, we would mock them mercilessly.

What if they were called "The Golden Domers" and sang terrible raps about ND? Everyone in the world would hate them.

Then don't listen to them. Just cuz you don't like them doesn't mean they should stop doing what they are doing. I wish we had more fans with school spirit like that.
 
I just checked the Gold Rush Dancers website and she's not on there, as near as I can tell. Also didn't look like it'd been updated for this year, since Wendy was still on there, and I was under the impression she'd (sadly) graduated.

gt fans/students = 85% idiots
uga fans/students = 99.999% douche bags

after gtgs
gt fans/students = 85% idiots + 100% make the Cameron Crazies look cool
uga fans/students = 99.999% douche bags + 100% have something to make fun of gt about

The GTGs are awesome. I have not met a student who thought otherwise. Compare them to those crappy Miami rappers and they look like their album will go platinum. The players like them. The athletic association likes them. Almost all of the students like them. If you don't like them then don't listen. Its that simple.

But "Wreck Style" doesn't hold a candle to "The Perfect Option". That song was just amazing.

The same way you stop listening to your wife when she hags you about leaving your dishes in the living room, the same way you stop listening to your kids when they whine when one pokes the other in the car.

If you want to listen to the music thinking the entire time "this really sucks I wish they wouldn't play that" then go for it, OR you can talk to your neighbors about the game or the weather or politics or whatever.

Everyone sitting around me liked the video, and I was sitting with alumni / older people.

Seems like it's a vocal minority who dislikes these videos.

This sounds like the time for a poll.
