I think it's a good hire at least on the surface for now. He's been Monken's understudy for a while now, so he knows his offensive scheme well & if we're being objective, the Ugag offense when it wants to, can be very good and efficient. Both Monken and Kirby have spoken highly of him. Good recruiter too from what I've read.

Of course he still has to show it 12 Saturdays in the fall, so time will tell.

he turned senior citizen Stetsuck Bennett IX into a serviceable QB so I guess anything is possible. The hire kinda hurts the mutts so that's a bonus too.

It's mostly a big ol' TBD right now.

We haven’t had an OC show it for 12 Saturdays in 4 years. I’ll take showing it for 9 Saturdays to start at this point. I think this is a fantastic hire. We probably won’t have him long.

Does anyone know if he's related to the Faulkner family that gave us Gary Faulkner who played for GT back in the early 70s.

He was coach at Tattnall Square Academy in the late 1970s and laid the groundwork for that school to become a powerhouse in the private schools league.

Well co-lor me surprised. It will be interesting to see how we do with him now that, co-nveniently, there is no more co-astal division. It is nice that we were able to co-op him from uga (hey, wait a minute....)
