This has to be fake. He is a big Bama supporter. Unless he is a CGC fan. Seriously if this is the real Andrews saying this (which I doubt), this is absolutely unreal. Which means it has to be some GT fan posing as Andrews.

so that I can Tweet all the snarky things I wish it were Christian of me to say IRL.

I need to look up how Tweets are handled in the Midrash, I guess.

Sounds like you're not important enough for anybody to want @0riginalw0mbat1 or whatever.

I think it would be pretty annoying to have somebody out there doing this, especially if (a) the posts aren't obviously satirical and (b) you're not a political figure or the like where the public is already attuned to look out for fake accounts.

Brent Key is offering every 2020 recruit he was on at Bama. For those who got upset when Geoff Collins left for Bama in 2009 and recruited some Tech kids understand: it's called competing.

The supposed story was not that CGC recruited GT recruits in 2007, but that he negatively recruited against the school and former staff.

Who knows. Stuff CGC said probably got retold in the grapevine in GT as worse than what he actually said.

I never heard that CGC negatively recruited against us. I heard that Key did. Let's not conflate the two. Most people were butthurt back in the day because CGC had Bama's fight song on his phone before he told Gailey he was leaving. Then everyone assumed he pulled Chris Jackson away. So . . . . He didn't get hired to recruit against every other college team except Georgia Tech. Now we have these guys on our side. Enjoy. That's the point.
