I hope to finally get my wish of louvers on the back of the jersey like I used to have on the back window of my '78 Camaro back in the day.

Anyone on this board who says they want more "creative" uniforms is a ööööing liar and they know it. Russell's decade-long creative seizure is what got us into this mess in the first place.
 
I would pay a little more for a little longer sleeve on the muscle shirt. Seriously, I think what I want is a high quality uniform that is instantly recognized as - yes, that’s Georgia Tech. Alabama, Penn State, LSU, Auburn, Michigan, USC, Oklahoma - these are schools that have simple, classic, great uniforms. Their uniforms are a part of their brand. They are not asking their supplier to be creative, just provide high quality. Their supplier wants their symbol on that classic uniform.

Ohio State is an example of a team that has that uniform and brand recognition and keeps screwing it up in recent years with their different looks. Some of their alternate uniform nightmares are a good reason to have chosen Bama over them.

There are two strategies - the classic look or the creative approach of schools like Oregon and Maryland. I think classic fits us better. Gold pants, white jerseys with the gold and Navy stripes and numerals and a gold helmet with the GT logo. Or, if you want to wear gold at home, the throwback uniform Calvin modeled works quite well.

Yeah I think everyone has different ideas on what the gold should be
 
These unis remind me of the ones we had in the late 90s under o'leary
 
Not a fan. Aside from the gender issues, the just look unfinished. At least they got the splatter on the pants right for when we shit our britches on gameday.

If you look closely, you can see that pattern in white on the jersey, too. Doesn’t really look like honeycomb to me - some kind of Adidas thing?

The boobs distracted me upon first look.

Seriously, everyone will have somewhat conflicting views of what we should wear. Reminds me of the movie “War Games” - there are no winners.

But I would have to agree with what 77GTFan said as regards a “classic look”.

I, at this point, just do not care if it is G/W/G or W/W/W or W/G/W or G/G/W ( as long as Gold does not clash)

Class & Quality over Creative Design.

JMO.
