Why in the world are people supporting the inclusion of South Carolina in to the ACC? No offense to Gamecock fans, but they are a mediocre school at best in both sports and academics. Even Vanderbilt (heaven forbid) makes better sense than South Carolina--at least they're on par in academics (plus they have a good tennis team).

Jack-it, that is easy. At one time they were a member of the ACC, and they are, regionally, an excellent addition.

There is no doubt, the University of Florida would make a good fit regionally in the ACC with the present addition of Miami. I don't think the North Carolinal schools would like it, but it would really be good for the Southern Division.

I still like the idea of South Carolina as a first choice, Florida as the second choice, and UCF as the third choice.

If we added three new teams to expand to 14, I would like all three of the above in the ACC. That would truly provide a North and South Division.
