They look like they're as good as they're supposed to be. Up on a ranked Tulane.

What's their scouting report?

Seems like there is a bit of a drop off between the starters and the first round of subs. I suspect we'll make some noise but its going to be a big challenge. Kiffen is really good at finding weak spots in defenses and we many have one or two. Impossible? No but the margin of error is nil.

Key was ripping people to shreds on the sidelines - maybe we 'gel' in game 3. Its not unthinkable.

In 2015 it took a whole 5 games to gel. 2 of those first four wins were heart attacks.

Probably chitlins and rice, with some boiled shrimp and tobasco sauce. Those country boys know how to eat.

Did you mean football?
The ole miss fans I know aren't chitlins or tobasco sauce types. I could see some tailgate menus with fried chicken on them along with potato salad.

Hi from Mississippi. Definitely no Chitlins here. That's NoLa. We eat gumbo, Jambalaya, boiled crawfish (not shrimp), and blue plate specials. Definitely no tobasco. Louisiana hot and Tony's seasoning is the go-to here.

So... uh... when's dinner??

Until Ole Miss proves it doesn't phase them on Sept 16, we should plan to go play our game, punch them in the mouth, and show the disdain for playing in Mississippi held by Dodd. I expect we'll lose by 7-10 points, but they'll know that we came to take no prisioners, other than their women, and that they are lucky to play us in year 1 of the Key Era, not later.

Tulane is ranked, but it’s still Tulane … basically Duke. King gives us a chance b/c we finally have a passing game for the first time since Reggie Ball. If our O-line can pass-block, then we have a chance at a W.

Tulane's D line is better than ours.
That's a mighty big if for our O line. SC State had more TFLs today than we did.

We will have a difficult task to slow down the OM offense. Somehow, for us to have a chance, I think we will need 40+ points.

Tulane’s LOS on both sides of the ball were very physical. Ole Miss got a couple of scores very late to secure the win. SC ST had way too much success running the football today, Charlotte and Jackson St held them to less rushing yards than we did. It’s going to be butt ugly in Oxford.

We will need a poor showing by Dart and their defense to have a chance. Our D didn't get QB pressure vs mighty SC St. If that doesn't change, Ole Piss wins & covers.
