Most any program would have run Sewak out on a rail by now. We should as well, but I think he is doing exactly what CPJ wants done. So there is perhaps the bigger problem. We shall see.
This year is the worst, so far, PPG allowed since CPJ arrived. That includes Tulane & alcorn games. We have to improve on D, but the O we run, I truly believe now, precludes us from being able to see that improvement.
I do not know how many times in preseason, and during the season, the # 1 & 2 units scrimmage each other. But when they do our D is going against the TO I would assume. If so, no help there.
Wasn't PJ quoted as saying you shouldn't fire someone without knowledge of who'd you'd replace him with? Seems like there, PJ has built in an excuse for the status quo. How many people out there know how teach blocking for a virtually unique offense.
