NFL Draft, Jackets, and Bush/Quinn

Why is it that some coaches have to try to make players into something they're not? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wtf.gif

Thank gawd Bobby Cox didn't try to make Greg Maddux a shortstop.
 
I'm really not even close to being an authority on pro football. I just watch Vick fumble the ball and throw it behind receivers who are open too much to not think that he is not a pro-style QB. I think you're probably right that he has set out to prove the critics wrong, but at the end of the day, he is running the offense the way the coaches tell him to run it.
