This is for a one month period during the season. It has more to do with circumstances than number of fans or popularity.
 
The Redskins thing in Nebraska is in some ways even more bewildering.
 
Wonder why the Colts in Nevada. Used to live there. It's really just a mix of sports fans but I wouldn't have thought they'd win out

In the article it suggests it's because people want a jersey that says "Luck" on it when they go gambling.

It's a small picture, but I think they're pointing to DC.

I thought the same thing, but the image makes it look like it's just 2014 data.
